My Favourite Face Brushes

Friday, 11 March 2011
Hiya,

So I've started doing some favourites because I always find these kinds of posts really useful. I've seen many videos and blog posts on favourites and have gone on to purchase some products because of them.

I have three favourite face brushes that I use every day. Occasionally I will use something else but  I always go back to these.
Sigma is a company which is quite widely known in the YouTube and blogging world. That is how I came across them as well and bought these brushes just seeing so many reviews on them.

ELF on the other hand, I discovered myself just over a year ago when I was randomly googling (as you do) for make up. I was amazed at their prices and once I had received some of their products, even more amazed to see the quality for the price!
The first is the Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki (F80). This is a brush I only came across recently but I had to include it because I really have never come across a brush better than this for applying liquid foundation. It makes my skin look flawless. The bristles are really fine and so soft! It applies foundation evenly and blends it in really well too.

The second one is the Sigma Powder Brush (F30). It is a really large synthetic  brush and that is one of the main things I like about it. When I have applied liquid foundation, I like to set it with a powder (usually MAC's MSF Natural) and this is the perfect brush for it. I like a light dusting of powder so I swirl this brush into the powder and I can apply it in just a few seconds. It is also a really soft brush and distributes product evenly.

My favourite blush brush is the ELF Studio Blush Brush. This again, is also a synthetic bristled brush and is very soft. It isn't too big; it's the perfect size to apply blush. The bristles are also not too dense so it is easy to control how much product I want to apply. It retails at just £3.50 so in my opinion, is well worth it!

What are your favourite brushes?

There will be a give away when I reach 50 followers; with a MAC lipstick or eye shadow of your choice along with a couple of other things as the prize, so keep your eyes peeled x x
