Review: Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush

Wednesday, 20 April 2011
Hiya,

I was recently sent Sigma's F35 brush. I was originally going to be sent the F80 but already had one which I purchased as part of the Sigmax set a few months ago, so wasn't in the need of one. Sigma very kindly offered to send me a different one instead.
This brush is made of synthetic bristles. My first impression of it was that it was so soft! I love how it feels on my face.
I have washed it once and found that it didn't shed at all and it stayed in its original shape. I didn't have a brush that was a good size for applying a highlight on my cheekbones but this applies it exactly where I want it to.

I suppose it can be used for contouring but I personally think it is a little too small for it. For highlighting though, it is the perfect brush!

  5. Hi! I'm new to makeup (kinda) and I want to purchase my first Sigma brushes... is the tapered highlighter (F35) good for blushes and powders? I can't spend so much since I'll be getting the F80 too... so thanks!
BTW awesome blog! So following Makeup Monologue! ;D

  6. Hiya, for blush I think it would work well (I have used it a few times for that) but i think it would be too small for face powder, you could use it for smaller areas though- it is definitely a multi-purpose brush =) x
