Brand Alley Haul- Essie Nail Polishes

Tuesday, 24 May 2011

I received the Essie Nail polishes that I purchased from BrandAlley around a week ago. I had been waiting for these for around a month so was glad to finally get them.

This is the spring collection and contains four 16oz/5ml nail polishes. The shades are so pretty.
They are soft colours which I really like. The one that I was most excited about was 'Topless and Barefoot' and it most certainly has lived up to the expectation! I have worn it once and just kept looking down at my nails every so often just to admire the gorgeous shade. It doesn't look like much but it is beautiful (I will do a NOTD on it soon).

The blue is also very different to what I have bought in the past and I'm looking forward to wearing it.

I really like the deals BrandAlley have on their website, you can sometimes find something really great at a low price.

I think I'm going to try and resist in future with nail polishes, my collection seems to have grown vastly (for someone who doesn't wear nail polish very often). I've never finished a bottle, so maybe it would be a good idea to wear what I have, rather than get one whenever it catches my eye!

What do you think of the shades? Which one do you like best?

  1. I love them all, I love pastel colours and I'm a sucker for pink nail polishes though :-)

  2. Love the colors! Really like the purple! I haven't heard of Brand Alley before. I'm going to have to go check it out!

  3. I love the pastel polishes! I have the french Affair one and is actually on my nails now! I love the pink w/white undertones. gorgeous! I have another Essie one called Sand tropez which is similar to the Topless & Barefoot- but with more white-ish, pastel-ish to it! The Topless one looks really unique as well

  4. I ordered from Brand Alley when they had Stila but I wasn't impressed that they take your money immediately, they charge £5 for delivery and then take an age to deliver. £5 to deliver what they did is too much and the fact they take ages didn't sit well with me either. I find that SpaceNK do the same.

However, those polishes do look nice, I'm looking forwards to your NOTD on them.

  5. Thanks for your comments ladies x x

Rhamnousia, I thought it still worked out cheaper with the delivery price and pretty much knew that it would take that long. They are very similar to ACHICA, who also sell different discounted products for limited periods, and once the time has ended, the brands company sends them the products which they then deliver to us. I guess it does seem like a long time when you're waiting for something you really want. I do wish they had a system that would make it a little quicker though x

Once you know what to expect, I think its ok
