Review: Soleil Tan De Chanel

Wednesday, 1 June 2011
Hiya,

I have heard so much about the Soleil Tan De Chanel that I started wondering what the fuss was all about. Then after seeing positive reviews from a few trusty bloggers, I decided to get a hold of it myself.
The packaging is so luxurious and sleek. It looks gorgeous although it is pretty large.
It is a cream product which I prefer in a bronzer as (for me) it is easier to apply and looks more natural. Powders cake up on my face quite easily so I have to be careful of how much I apply.

This bronzer is very creamy and smooth. The pigmentation is perfect; when I apply the product to my face I don't have to worry about it looking too much.
I found that this product isn't orangey but looks very natural, very much like it is meant to be on the face, if applied correctly of course!

I mainly use it to contour my face and find it does the job really well. You get 30g of product which is quite ample and having used it for over a month now, I haven't even made a dent in it yet!

The brush I use is the Sigmax F84 angled brush which is very dense and picks up and distributes cream products really well. I also find it easy to blend product with this brush so this works for it.

This bronzer is priced at £28.60 which is very expensive but it will last you a long time!

I personally love it, what do you think of it?

  2. I got mine from Debenhams, I've been searching it online but it seems it isn't on the sites. Maybe they sell them there in stores only? You could try House of Fraser too x

  4. Seems I will just have to keep looking then. I went to a Chanel counter and the lady there wasn't sure if it was even still in production because they hadn't had any stock in months. Thanks :)
