My June Favourites

Thursday, 7 July 2011
Hiya,

I don't think I have gone this long without a post in a long time! Unfortunately, until September, there isn't really much I can do about it- I will most likely be on and off with blogging. Not only is my mother in law visiting (which in Indian/Pakistani families means being lumbered with guests all the time and visiting every human you have ever known because apparently that is what the elderly do) but my laptop has been playing up too (although that will be fixed pretty soon). The only problem is that I miss it so much that I'm constantly wanting to get on here and share something!

Enough of the rambling, I think now is an appropriate time to do my favourites for the month of June. I really haven't purchased that much make up recently and have mainly just been enjoying what I already have.

My Olay Pro X Cleansing System has been a life saver for me. I was in London last week and my skin isn't used to hard water any more; well it never was, I always had horrible skin when I lived in London, but this time the humidity was awful and my skin wasn't liking anything about it!

Using this on a daily basis proved to be fantastic for me. I use it every other day normally, and I love how it has changed my skin! It is a similar idea to the Clarisonic. It is a lot cheaper but I think it works just as well. I have a review of it here.
This concealer by Collection 2000 is also a favourite of mine and has been ever since I bought it. It is really cheap and works amazingly! The coverage is great and it lasts all day.
The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Shadow pencils are some of the most impressive products I have used as a base on my eye lids. These stay on all day and they just do not budge! I especially like to use 'Sin' as a base for most shadows and the purple shade ('Delinquent') for the outer corner of my eyes.

Lastly, 'Deepthroat' by NARS is a blush I have been wearing non stop all month. I'm pretty sure I have worn it almost every day since I purchased it. It is such a perfect pink/peach and on my skin tone, it works perfectly!

I'm going to try to put posts up a little more frequently, I miss it all so much when I can't!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway which ends 21st July!

  7. Deep throat is a definite must have!

The Make-up Fairy, I wasn't aware of it either until I saw a You Tube video sometime in January. I don't think it is available in the UK though unfortunately.
