Review: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Perfume

Friday, 30 December 2011
Hiya,

I am not one to collect perfume's so I only have a select few which I use and then when I run out I get something else. I don't think I have ever repurchased the same perfume more than once either. I like trying new ones so that is how I like it.

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture is very popular amongst younger women. The packaging is very over the top but I love it.

I love the little detailing with the Juicy Couture logo and the little charm that hangs from the lid. It is definitely a perfume bottle to put on display in your bedroom/dressing room.

Since I am so awful at describing scents, here is a snippet from the Juicy Couture webite,

'Long live the scent of couture. With top notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin gently tempered with honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Underlying it all are warm tones of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline. Boldly bottled with Juicy charms and rocked in fuchsia wrap.'

I love how sweet and girly this perfume smells. I think, for the summer especially, this is definitely a scent to cheer you up and make you feel more alive!

The 50ml bottle is priced at around £46 which is pretty steep in price but is it worth it? Yes!

  2. I have a few samples of this and wear it when i'm feeling really young and girlish. It's definitely not an everyday scent for me though as it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming.

  6. I think Juicy is the only brand that I've been able to tolerate the "over the top" designs of. A lot of them actually work.

  7. I'm glad you all enjoy it! I do think it is a lovely summery scent but I tend to wear it in the winter too, it definitely takes the glumness out of the British weather!
