Review: MAC Iridescent Powder in Silver Dusk

Monday, 26 December 2011

I have had my eye on the Iridescent Powder in Silver Dusk by MAC for a long time now. I watched quite a few YouTuber's talking about it and that is what got me curious about it.

The container is quite large and it has a sifter which makes sure to keep most of the product protected so it doesn't fly everywhere.

The product itself is very finely milled and quite sparkly. It is a champagne/pink with silver shimmer and is very smooth.

I like to apply this to my cheekbones for highlighting and I love the effect that it gives.
It is very easy to overdo it though and so a light hand is necessary to make sure you don't get the 'disco ball' effect.

12g of product means I probably will never ever run out of it. It is priced at £17.50 which is quite high but if it only needs to be bought once, I think it is definitely worth it.

It still is not my absolute favourite because I like the Accessorize bronzer in 'Golden Sand' a little more as it is the perfect shade for my skin tone. You can take a look at the review for that here.

  1. This powder looks beautiful! I can see why you picked it up!

  2. I have the other one in Golden Bronze and I love it to bits, but it's also extremely sparkly and the tub is huge enough to last a life time!

  3. ; __ ; I want to clean it. I dislike that type of dispenser that gets so messy.
