First Impressions: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soleil Perfume

Thursday, 9 August 2012
Hiya,

I received a gift from a good friend of mine quite a long time ago which was a pleasant surprise for two reasons. One, there was absolutely no reason for her to be giving me a gift in the first place (not my birthday etc), and two, I had never actually heard of this pefume!

I knew that there are perfume's by Estee Lauder but I hadn't heard of this one. Even if I had, I probably wouldn't have bought it anyway as I usually go for the more girly fragrances.

Once I did some research on it, I realised that it is actually a limited edition perfume and as far as I am aware, not available any more unless you get it from ebay or maybe other online perfume shops (sorry!).

The price ranges from £38-£60 depending on where you get it.

The Estee Lauder site describes it as 'Inspired by the warmth of the Mediterranean, a citrus floral blend with notes of Bergamot and Orange Blossom.'

To me, it does smell citrus-y and also with a hint of coconut which is odd because as far as I know it isn't even in the perfume! It could all be in my head though because it literally smells like summer.

So far, it is very different to all my other fragrances and I didn't like it that much to start off with, but now I find myself using this more often which, I guess, must mean that I do like it! I feel summary when I wear it and it reminds me of being on a beach which is no bad thing!

Have you had the opportunity to try this perfume? What did you think? Any other Estee Lauder perfumes you think might be good to try?
