Review: bare Minerals Touch Up Veil

Wednesday, 8 August 2012

I am sure everyone is aware of the mineral veil that has been available by bare Minerals for quite some time. I never even thought about purchasing it because I am not a big fan of messy, powdery products.

I first heard of the Touch Up Veil on a video I watched by Fleur De Force, which I am sure most of you will already know of!

It was the perfect time for me to try this out as I was looking for a lightweight setting powder anyway.

The packaging itself is very much like the NARS packaging, rubbery and it attracts all sorts of dust and dirt! I don't mind that though as I quite like the feel of it.

As the packaging states, it also has an SPF of 15 which isn't bad as an extra bit of safety when going outdoors.

It is a translucent powder which means that it is suitable for any skin tone. I find that this is definitely true as when I apply the powder to my face, it blends in very well.

The consistency is soft and very finely milled which definitely allows for the product to do its job well.

When I use a brush with it, I find that no extra powder flies anywhere which I think is great for a powder product. I also find it difficult to overdo it- most definitely a plus!

Overall, I would recommend this powder, it is on the pricey side as most bare Minerals products are, at £22 from Debenhams, but because I think it will last quite long, it is worth the buy!

Would you consider trying it?
