Review: ELF Studio Cream Blush in Seductress

Friday, 10 August 2012
Hiya,

I have used ELF products since I first started wearing make up on a regular basis. It was one of the first brands that I got really into mainly because I thought the price was incredibly cheap!

I have been an avid user of some of their products and really rate them because a lot of the times you get quality products at really reasonable prices.

The packaging for this blush is pretty big. I know that most people don't really like that and although I would prefer to have a product that is not too bulky, I don't mind this too much because I don't usually carry blushes around with me. When I am travelling around the UK, it is usually by car so it has never been an issue as to how much I need to pack and how small my travel products need to be.

I specifically chose this shade because I like the rosy cheek look. I wanted something like this to wear in the autumn/winter time because I feel like shades like these look good in the colder months.
The consistency for this blush is very soft and feels kind of spongy. When I touched it I thought that not much colour would be transferred on to my hand but I was wrong. I love this colour! It goes on to the face easily and blends with no problems at all. I also found that it lasted pretty much all day.

It is priced at £6.50 but it is usually possible to find a discount code or two on ELF's facebook page.

What do you think of cream blushes? Any favourites?

  5. Ooooh,I've not tried these or indeed a cram blush that looks all spongy. I do have a soft spot for cream blushes so I will have to check them out.

  7. I'm so glad you mentioned the consistency! I had the same experience and it was kind of what I expected the bouncy blushes to be like. This is a lovely color!
