2012 Favourite's: Brushes

Wednesday, 2 January 2013

Hiya,

I discovered Sigma brushes a few years ago and have never looked back after trying them out. The majority of brushes that I have and use on a regular basis are by Sigma. That is not to say that MAC or other brands are bad quality but Sigma brushes are cheaper than the usual high end one's with the same, and at times, better quality.

The F20 large powder brush is what I have used for setting powder after applying my make up. It is fluffy, soft and distributes product evenly and perfectly!

The Precision Flat brush I use to set my under eye concealer. Again, it is incredibly soft and does a great job!

MAC's 239 is great for packing on eyeshadow on the lid. I think there is a Sigma version of it but I don't own it. This is great quality and I have used it with every eyeshadow application.

The E35 Tapered Blending brush is what I use for highlight on the brow bone. It works well and I have become quite attached to it.

The E25 blending brush is exactly the same as the MAC 217, which I also own, but it is much cheaper which is why I chose this. It blends eyeshadow very well, especially in the crease, I think it is perfect!

What were your favourite brushes in 2012?

  2. For a very long time I refused to get any Sigma cause I thought the brushes I had were equally good. On Black Friday last year Sigma offered free shipping worldwide so I grabbed 2 blending brushes and they are absolutely amazing. There's such a big difference!
