2012 Favourites: Eye Primer

Saturday, 5 January 2013
Hiya,

I have searched high and low for a good primer in the last few years. There has only been one that I have used consistently.

This is the Limecrime Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper. It retails for £13 and is absolutely amazing! It keeps my eye shadow on literally all day, no creasing, no fading.

Now I have oily eyelids, like really oily eyelids, and this has been fantastic! Any product that I apply after this, stays on all day. I now never have to worry about creasing during the day because I know that this will do its' job.

I would definitely buy this again and again.. The only thing is, it has been reformulated and re-released! Now I am slightly worried.. will it be the same, better or I dread to think... worse?!

After the ban, the first thing I will be trying out is the new version of this primer. I really hope it impresses, or I will have to start my search all over again!

  3. Ive never tried anything by LimeCrime. This particular primer looks so similar to Macs Painterly! Its the base I use everyday for my eyeshadow. I would imagine these are very similar to one another!

    1. I've never tried Painterly! The only reason being because it looked like it would get too dry.. might have to take a look at some point, thank you x

  4. I have this and whilst I agree it works brilliantly I can't get over how much I have to tug at my lid to spread it out on application. Then again mine seemed a little dried out when I got it... Glad it works well for you though :) The packaging is adorable. Argh I hate when brands reformulate products though. Stop tampering!
