Glossybox UK: January 2013

Tuesday, 15 January 2013
Hiya,

I just received the Glossybox for January 2013 and I am pleasantly surprised!

This month I have really stepped up my skincare routine and have tried really hard to make sure I am taking care of it. I am about to run out of my face cleanser and wanted to get another one soon. I also have been wanting to try out new skincare products but because of the ban, I couldn't do that... which automatically makes me think, am I actually allowed to stay subscribed to Glossybox?? I think I probably will as it it will be annoying to have to unsubscribe and then subscribe again, although I do feel like I am cheating a little bit! I have decided though, that apart from the face cleanser (as I would have purchased another one as a necessity), I will not use any of my Glossybox products until the ban is over!

On to January's box! I am more than a little pleased with what came in the box, I wasn't expecting it to be that good because there was a special box for December.

This month, it was all about the skincare! This was great timing for me!

1. Premae Skincare- Balance Rescue Face Tonique

This seems to have only natural ingredients and what could possibly be better than that? I do like the scent of it too. Retails at £27.50/50ml.

2. Monu- Renu Flash Relax Mask

This is, for mature skin, which I don't think I have at 26 years old! But, anything to prevent ageing skin is good. Retail price: £32/100ml

3. Jason- Lips Bee Healthier

I actually applied this as soon as I got it out. It had a dry layer which worried me but once that was removed it applied so smoothly and I really liked the scent. It made my lips feel very soft too and reminded me of one of my Carmex lip balms which I really like. It is also full size which is great. Retail price: 1.99/4.6g

4. Vichy- Normaderm 3in1 Cleanser

This is something I have been wanting to get. Well not this particular one, but I have been needing a new cleanser. I have only ever tried the deodorant by Vichy and I liked it so I do hope that this will work well for me too. Retail Price: £11/125ml

5. Sanctuary Spa- Active Reverse Thermal Transformation Mask

This again, is for the older women. But, I will try it out all the same. Who doesn't want a glow to their skin? Retail Price: £27.50 Step 1/50ml, Step 2/75ml

6. Glossy Box- Glossy Dreams Eye Mask

Here is another product by Glossybox, and eye mask. I will get good use out of this as I had misplaced my other one!

All in all, I am pretty pleased with this months box!

What do you think?

  2. Cute eye mask! I don't think your subscription is cheating... it's not that expensive and if you know you have *something* coming you'll be less likely to break your ban, no?
