Review: MeMeMe Beat the Blues Sunbeam

Friday, 11 January 2013

I have seen a lot of reviews and experienced using some products by BeneFit that have been duped by a number of different brands. One of them, is MeMeMe. There is one product I have tried from them that I really think is the same, but at a much better price!

This is a liquid highlighter which you can use on your cheekbones to give you more of a glowing look. I find that another use for it is to mix it in with your foundation and that will give your whole face a healthy glowy look too.

The brush was something that I was not too happy with because some of the bristles were bent and twisted upwards, although that by no means prevented the product from being used properly.

The product itself is smooth in consistency and blends well. It is a cream-gold which blended out looks very pretty. It is not overbearing in terms of the shimmer which means that on the face, it looks natural and pretty.

The price, £5.25 is much cheaper than the BeneFit version (Moonbeam) which is £18.50, more than triple the price!

I like using this when I want more of a natural, every day look because even if I don't wear foundation, I can just apply it on my cheekbones and still look like I have made the effort.

It is available to buy at Superdrug.

  1. Precisely I've written about this product and others by MeMeMe today.
I think they are great Benefit dupes and they are worth it!

  2. Coincidence! They are definitely worth it. When the products do the same job, I am all for it!

  3. I am new to this product although I love using highlighters. Would love to try it. Thanks for the nice review.
