Review: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Monday, 14 January 2013

I have had the Naked 2 palette for quite some time now even though it was released over a year ago now. I hesitated a lot in getting it because I was not sure I would like it, especially already owning the first Naked palette. I now feel like I wish I had bought it earlier!

Most of the shades in this palette are more cooler tones which seem to suit me a lot better than the first. Having said that though, I still find myself going towards my first palette as well so maybe those shades don't look too bad on me either!

This palette contains one eye shadow that was already in the first Naked palette; Half Baked. I actually am pretty pleased about that though because I really love this shade.

The eye shadows, as always by Urban Decay, are very pigmented, smooth and blendable. I really like the taupe-y shade Pistol and Bootycall is another one of my favourite's.

As I had stated in my first impressions post, I did not think I would like Chopper that much because of the fallout. I do love the shade but I still stand by the fact that it does have too much fallout.

This palette comes with a dual ended brush and a mini lip gloss.

Debenhams regularly have a sale on in which you can purchase beauty products for 10-15% off. I would recommend waiting until one of those as you can save a decent amount. The regular price for this palette is £36.

- Fantastic quality eyeshadows
- Sturdy packaging
- All shades you would want for a look

- Expensive

I would recommend purchasing this palette because I personally love it!
