Review: BeneFit Fine One One

Thursday, 28 February 2013
Hiya,

Along with Urban Decay, BeneFit have also released a trio product. BeneFit though, have gone on a different route. They have come up with a cream stick product with the name Fine One One.

The packaging is a gorgeous rose gold! I think BeneFit definitely did a great job with it. Then again, they are pretty famous for quirky, unique packaging!

Ok well, is one of the products supposed to be a bronzer? That was my first thought when I saw this. I looked it up and, what was pretty obvious from initially looking at it, was true. It is not a bronzer. There are two blush shades and one highlighter. This product can be used on the lips as well which is great considering I am always out and about busy doing something.

This gives a sheer wash of colour which I think is perfect for day to day use. When you don't want to use a powder, using something like this is great as it does not feel like it weighs your skin down.

Retail Price: £23.50

Pro's
- Three shades
- Can be used on cheeks or lips
- Gorgeous packaging

Con's
- Price
- May not show up too much on dark skin

Overall, I really like this. I will probably use it as a base product and also on the 'no makeup' makeup days. For use on the go, this will be perfect as it can be used to quickly touch up the lips or the cheeks!

  4. I love the packaging but not keen on the actual product as it looks pretty difficult to apply one colour instead of all three. x

    1. The highlight on its own or the coral colour is easy to apply, but the pink blush is impossible to apply on its own without a brush. I still love it though tbh, it looks lovely on the skin x

  5. The texture looks pretty interesting! I kind of agree with Aaliyah though, I don't see the point of three colours if you can't NOT mix them. I guess you can bust out a brush but then what's the point of the stick packaging?

    1. To some extent I agree. The middle shade can't be used without a brush for the cheeks but for the lips it is pretty easy to apply. I know it will be frustrating when I want to use the pink shade on its own though!

  7. I love Benefit's packaging. But I am longing for their boxed blushes more.

  8. Most reviews do show that it is a bronzer, but maybe it won't show up so well on our asian dusky tones. Product sounds fab though. thanks for sharing:)
