First Impressions: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and Powder

Friday, 8 March 2013

Foundations are one of my favourite things to try out because I love seeing how different finishes look on the face and I just am always on the lookout for the perfect one.

The Nearly Naked is the latest addition to Revlon's foundations and it has definitely been getting a lot of attention!

My shade is '150 Nude' which seemed to match perfectly even though I just ordered it online.

It does not have a pump which is a bit of a downside but when it turns out to be a good product, that is then not much of an issue.

Blended out
As you can see, when it is applied on the skin, it does seem sheer but I feel like it is quite buildable which makes it easier to apply as you know it will not be too much. I like the finish of this foundation. It is natural looking and although it is not completely dewy, it is also not a matte; sort of in between which is what I like.

I have worn this once and loved that it lasted the whole day. Not very many foundations last on me but this one was great. I have combination skin and it works very well for both the dry and oilier areas.

So far, I am very impressed with this.

Secondly, I got the pressed powder to go with the foundation in the shade 'Medium'.

When I first looked at this, it did seem a little dark for my skin. When I applied it on the skin, it was just about right though.

The powder is so finely milled and smooth. I really like how great it feels; not cakey at all or heavy. It feels natural.

I am so far absolutely loving the combination of these products. They were most certainly worth it and if I don't find a long term fault in these, they very well may become staple products!

Have you tried them yet?
